Cash only. Taste super great. As pricey as a restaurant, but when I opened the box, the portion was good, well packed with meat. I’m so happy with this Asian food stall.

Yes it only takes cash (or bank transfer) and the wait is usually long, but as a Chinese person (who grew up in China), the food is really tasty and authentic and much better than most Asian/Chinese restaurants in Cambridge. It's slightly pricy though, my char kway teow was £13.

I am surprised by any negative reviews. I live in Cambridge and this is pretty much my favourite food stall on the market. I usually have the Beef Rendang or the Braised Belly Pork. Whilst I have not had many other dishes everything seems good, and people seem happy. I always see a lot of Asians at the stall. The food hygiene seems good. I have a sensitive stomach and have never had a tummy problem from here.

This is one of the best stalls in market square. There is always a queue so make sure you leave time to get your food. Most dishes are cooked fresh in front of you and the portions are very decent. I’ve been back a few times and definitely recommend this place.
Very authentic malaysian food! Take out a bowl of thick and flavor packed Penang Assam Laksa. Penang laksa itself is not an easy dish to prepare and cook and Azuma didn’t disappoint! Chef was also super cute & friendly. Highly recommend to try (despite the long queue)
We ordered fried rice noodles and Hainan chicken over rice - they both tasted great! But there’s no seat, and you have to be prepared to stand someplace nearby to finish your food.

Favorite take away place in Cambridge and favourite stall in the market. Their Nasi Lemak is my favourite. Always get an order from Azuma when I’m looking for tasty comfort food. Whenever we have visitors in Cambridge, always bring them here. a small hassle that they only accept cash but definitely worth going to the ATM for.

Whilst the market shuts at 4, Azuma is still taking last minute orders with a long queue…
I found it surprisingly hard in Cambridge to find eye-catching food establishments and further still, outstanding food that made you go “this is the best food i’ve ever had”, which is the internal reaction i always look for when assessing goodness of food experience - Maybe its because cambridge has become a tourist saturated area that outstanding food is rare as it has become complacent with a guaranteed foot traffic.
But the moment Azuma hits the palette…..
Well. You can guess what comes next.
The beautifully crispy flaky roti with chicken curry and a side portion of pork belly were truly outstanding. I’ve never enjoyed the fat of pork belly like i did Azuma’s and the crispyness and bite were incredible. Any place that can do a pork belly well is worth giving a shout out to.
This is the best food in Cambridge for those who appreciate quality, wholesomeness and flavours of the world.- Food

One of the BEST street food in market square at Cambridge. I keep going back to this place every few days. Easily recognisable from its waving Malaysian flag. Make sure to bring cash as they don’t accept cards yet.
Highly recommended. Proper authentic Malaysian n Japanese foods. 👍👍
Friendly owner, nice food.
